Why the name and who are you?

I chose the name Deborah Carlsen, LLC. because I believe that personal ownership of my work and business shows how serious I am about what I do.  My name is my work and I stand by that.  I value integrity, doing what is right and doing what I can to give back to this community. 

I am a Multi-Certified IT Professional and have been in the Information Technology Business professionally for over 15 years.  The last 8 have been here in Fort Myers, Florida.  I truly enjoy the excitement and challenges of this type of work as well as learning new things every day.  I am a woman owned business and pride myself on knowing I offer my clients my very best.

My main goal for this business is two-fold. 

First is providing exceptional IT Consulting Services to those in the SW Florida area.

Secondly, and also just as important, is to provide mentoring and internships to women in the Southwest Florida area looking to become part of the Information Technology Field. 

I truly believe I can make a difference in this economy by helping other women in the area realize that a professional career in IT is a rewarding and attainable career.  I believe allowing them to see and work with professional people allows them to better understand what they are learning and can only augment their technical aptitude providing them a future they may never have thought possible.
